Breadbreakers
Messiah’s Bread Breakers is an adult fellowship opportunity. Whether you’re single, young, senior, partners, can’t drive, have a small living area, are going south for the winter – no problem – there is flexibility. It’s a fun way to connect with fellow Messiah members.
The groups of (usually) 5-8 adults (couples and singles) host each other for meals at each other’s homes between late fall to early summer on a schedule determined by the group’s members. The host household provides a main dish and beverages, with others bringing items requested by the host to round out the meal, such as an appetizer, salad, side dish or dessert.
If you’re gone most of the winter, you can host first or last, and your group will keep meeting while you’re gone. When you host, the meal is however you want it to be – brunch or dinner, cook-out/fancy/casual, on a weekend or a weekday.
