2026 was the first year Messiah held a  Women's Winter Retreat. The women of Messiah joined the women of St. Luke’s Lutheran (Middleton) for a wonderful winter getaway at The Inn at Fort Wilderness Resort in Rhinelander, WI.

The venue was fantastic and exceeded our expectations in both comfort and activities.

The weekend ws full of activities (crafts, down-hill tubing, horseback riding, sleigh rides, XC skiing, snowshoeing, puzzles, a nature center, prayer-walks, etc.)

Pr. Renee also led the group in prayer experiences.

We believe this mayl be an annual event with St. Luke’s. The women really enjoyed the comradery and the opportunity of meeting new people with the two congregations coming together for this Retreat.
